We’ve built this site so that we can help you find the old games from your childhood, the childhood of those who came before, and as the years go by, the childhood of future gamers.
My name is Kenny, and I love video games of all kinds. I’ve been gaming since the good old days of the NES, and have watched as the gaming industry grew from its humble beginnings into the massive multi-billion dollar powerhouse that it is today.
But as much as I like to load up my Nintendo Switch and play the newest Mario game, sometimes, the old school part of me wants to go back in time to the older games from my childhood. Nostalgia is a huge passion for me. And I want to ensure that others can still enjoy the games of their past too!
And so, to help fellow retro gamers find the games from their childhood, I’ve built this site.
How did this all get started?
It all began with a dream to build my own website on videogames. I originally had my humble beginnings with Videogame Guy, another video game website I manage. And as much as I love playing videogames, I was afraid that this site was becoming a little too broad in its scope. I tried to cover too much in one go.
I decided to take a step back and embrace my inner retro gamer. If there’s one thing I always enjoyed with the classic games is how fun they are to play.
In addition to writing about retro gaming in general, I also wanted to set up a store filled with curated products, so that aspiring buyers can find what they are looking for, without having to scroll through dozens of irrelevent products and listings.
